Car Rental:
We have had excellent experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, they offer great cars at reasonable prices and they offer three locations to rent from on Maui. The Kihei location can frequently provide significant savings, and they can arrange to pick you up. Travel arrangements:
We have had nothing but great experiences with Alaska Airlines and since joining their Visa Credit Card Program, we get an annual $99 Companion Ticket which entitles a companion to fly anywhere Alaska Airlines flies, for $99. Grocery Shopping:
Food on the island is understandably more expensive due to shipping, below are some tips to save money on groceries:

- If you are on-island for a week or more consider shopping early in your trip at Costco for meats, drinks & fruit. Try to avoid buying more food than you will be able to consume during your stay.
- The Kihei Kai Nani front desk will provide you with an informational packet upon checking in which contains a 20% off coupon at Foodland. Use this for your first time shopping there to stock up on basic supplies, as this will likely be your biggest purchase and doing so will maximize your savings.
